ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ (જીએસઇબી) એ ગુજરાત રાજ્યના તમામ જિલ્લાઓમાં અભ્યાસક્રમ સૂચવવા અને મુખ્ય રાજ્ય-સ્તરની પરીક્ષા લેવા માટે જવાબદાર શૈક્ષણિક બોર્ડ છે. જીએસઇબીની સ્થાપના 1972 માં મુખ્યત્વે રાજ્યમાં ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણના નિયમન અને સંચાલન માટે કરવામાં આવી હતી. જીએસઈબી દ્વારા લેવાયેલી બે મુખ્ય પરીક્ષાઓમાં ધોરણ 10 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે જીએસઇબી એસએસસી પરીક્ષા (માધ્યમિક શાળા પ્રમાણપત્ર) અને ધોરણ 12 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે જીએસઇબી એચએસસી પરીક્ષા (ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળા પ્રમાણપત્ર) છે.

ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પાઠયપુસ્તક મંડળની સ્થાપના 1 થી 12 ધોરણના વર્ગ માટે ઉચ્ચ ગુણવત્તાની પાઠયપુસ્તકોના પ્રકાશનના સંચાલન માટે કરવામાં આવી હતી. ગુજરાતી સિવાય અન્ય માધ્યમોમાં ભણાતી શાળાઓ હોવાથી, ગુજરાત રાજ્ય પાઠયપુસ્તક મંડળ હિન્દી, અંગ્રેજી, મરાઠી, સિંધી, ઉર્દૂ, સંસ્કૃત અને તમિલમાં પાઠયપુસ્તકો પણ પ્રકાશિત કરે છે. પાઠયપુસ્તકો વિભાવનાઓ અને ઉપદેશોના ઉપયોગને સરળ ભાષામાં સમજાવે છે જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સરળતાથી સમજી શકે છે. ગુજરાત બોર્ડે ગૌન સેવા પાસંદગી મંડળ (જીએસએસએસબી), પંચાયત સેવા પસંદગી બોર્ડ (જીપીએસબી), પોલીસ ભરતી બોર્ડ (પીઆરબી), વગેરે જેવી સ્પર્ધાત્મક પરીક્ષાઓ માટે પાઠયપુસ્તકો પણ રજૂ કર્યા હતા.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Education Board (GSEB) is the educational board responsible for prescribing the syllabus and conducting the main state-level exams across all districts within the state of Gujarat. GSEB was founded in 1972 mainly to regulate and manage higher secondary education within the state. The two main exams conducted by GSEB are GSEB SSC Exam (Secondary School Certificate) for class 10th students and GSEB HSC Exam (Higher Secondary School Certificate) for class 12th students.
