GPSC State Tax Inspector Selection Process 2021The candidates applying for the GPSC State Tax Inspector Recruitment 2021 have to go through two stages of the exam in order to get selected as a State Tax Inspector. The GPSC State Tax Inspector selection process is as follows:
Stage 1: Preliminary Exam / Prelims / Screening Test
This stage will have one paper on General Science which will be of 200 marks with 200 questions. The time allotted will be 2 hours. The method of conduction of the exam will be in offline mode and the questions will be objective (MCQ) based.
Stage 2: Mains ExamThe mains stage will consist of four papers: Gujarati, English, General Science 1 and General Science 2, each of 100 marks. The time allotted for each paper will be 3 hours. The method of conduction of the exam will be offline as it will be a descriptive (written) exam. The final merit list for the selection of candidates will be based on marks received by them in this stage only.
